The Lord’s Prayer / Our Father
Matthew 6:9–13 (KJB)
9 After this manner therefore pray ye:
Our Father which art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy name.
10 Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done in earth,
as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts,
as we forgive our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil:
For thine is the kingdom,
and the power,
and the glory,
for ever. Amen.
Matthew 6:10 (KJB) reveals the command:
“Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done in earth,
as it is in heaven.”

Then Jesus confirms the family of God in Matthew 12:50 (KJB):

Notice: Jesus says brother, sister, and mother — but not father.
The Father chooses.
The Father sends.
The Father reveals.
The Father makes His servants family through His will.
Just as God chose David.
Just as God chose John the Baptist.
Just as God chooses His servants according to His purpose.
Not by assumption.
Not by tradition.
But by design.
