Mark 14:30 and Mark 14:66-72.
After Peter’s third denial, the rooster crows just as Jesus predicted. Mark highlights the fulfillment of Jesus’ foreknowledge and Peter’s realization of his actions.
Luke’s Account
Luke records the prophecy in Luke 22:34 and the fulfillment in Luke 22:54-62.
Luke’s narrative includes a powerful detail: after the rooster crows, the Lord turns and looks upon Peter, bringing immediate conviction to Peter’s heart.
John’s Account
John provides another perspective in
John 13:38 and John 18:15-27.
Once again, after Peter’s final denial, the cock crows, confirming the words spoken earlier by Jesus.
John’s account emphasizes the prophetic accuracy of Christ’s words.

Across all four Gospels, the crowing of the rooster marks the moment when prophecy becomes reality.
